I have been asked for my opinion of Laszlo Levente Kupai. As a coach, I worked with him for shorter periods, focusing on specific areas. From my perspective, Laszlo is diligent, and strives for the maximum in every task he is assigned. His talent is shown by the fact that he has found his role in almost any team he has been in so far and helped the team, whether he was in a leading or supporting role. He has that certain X factor that can make him stand out from his contemporaries. From a physical, technical and tactical point of view, he is among the best in his age group.
His enthusiasm, work ethic, dedication and commitment are exemplary. He gives 110% in training and matches, because he wants to be better and better every day. As a defender, he is stable and reliable, stopping even the best opponent if necessary. He also corrects other people's mistakes if necessary, because he makes quick decisions and has a clear view of the field as a whole. In attack, he creates space well (with positioning), he puts teammates in positions well (unselfish), he passes and throws well, he makes quick creative decisions, but he also plays well in tight systems. He reads the game excellently on both the defensive and offensive side.
It is not only on the court that he is a good team player. In the dressing room and in life, he is easy to relate to and manages his relationships well. He communicates easily and focuses on solving any problems.
I know his family too. His parents provide a good environment and both support their child's aspirations. His father still plays basketball and actively supports his son's development.
